Classic & tasty! Many options to eat in and to go. Prepared soups and pies ready for quick pick up. Very clean establishment and the staff are friendly. The person next to me got a hot buttered lobster roll and I will be back for that. Food was delicious and fresh!
Fantastic seafood. Great price for great portions. Was genuinely shocked at the amount of shrimp I got, and the size of the chowder I got for what I spent. An amazing lunch and will definitely be on my list for lunchtime breaks.
Very nice lunch date experience. Extremely pocket friendly and great service! The chowdas were fantastic - I took the Rockport lobster bisque, and my bf took the Atlantic haddock chowda, and both of them were very tasty! Would visit again
Lobstah rolls and chowdah are Boston staples, and the Boston Chowda Co does both right! Slightly expensive, but guuuud. Definitely worth a try, for the chowder alone - it's in the name afterall.
Legit and delicious! At first, I thought this was going to be a cookie-cutter place. But not at all! The food is so thoughtfully and authentically made. I had the best fried shrimp sandwich outside of New Orleans. The batter was on point, light and perfectly seasoned. The fries were hand cut, and the tartar sauce was delicious. I tried a few soups to which were all exceptional. They even have corn chowder!! Also, a plus customer service the minute we walked in. They answered all of our questions, and also customized our order. MUST TRY
Everything a New England pallet could want! The key to a great sandwich is fresh everything including the bread/roll. Great bread here! Chowda is spot on. Lemonade is not overly sweet and nice & tart.
The food was just awesome. I love the Clam Chowder here. The sourdough bread is a treat in which you pour the heated Chowder. Just heaven. I usually add a little chilly to spice it up. Super food.
I always wanted to give a try after visiting Quincy Market but it is very busy all the time and there's barely a place to sit. Luckily I found one in North Andover. We ordered the clam chowder, a lobster roll and corn chowder. The food was really good, fresh, hot and tasty. We will definitely go back.
